Refund Policy

We want billing to feel fair and transparent. This policy describes when refunds may be considered.

Monthly subscriptions

Refund requests for monthly plans may be considered within 7 days of the initial charge or renewal, depending on usage and circumstances. Approval is not guaranteed and may be declined if there has been substantial feature or AI usage during the period.

Annual subscriptions

Refund requests for annual plans may be considered within 14 days of purchase. After that window, we generally do not offer prorated refunds unless required by applicable law or at our discretion in exceptional cases.

Trials

Free trials that convert to paid subscriptions are billed according to the plan selected at signup. If you were charged after a trial you intended to cancel, contact us promptly with your account email and charge date.

Duplicate charges

If you believe you were charged twice for the same subscription period, contact us with transaction details. Verified duplicate charges will be refunded or credited.

Failed payments

Failed or declined payments do not grant access to paid features. If a payment succeeds after retries and you no longer want the subscription, contact us within the applicable refund window above.

Refund request process

To request a refund:

  1. Email support@getfreelanceos.com from your account email address
  2. Include the charge date, amount, and payment method used
  3. Briefly describe why you are requesting a refund

We aim to respond within a few business days. Approved refunds are processed through the original payment provider and may take additional time to appear on your statement.

AI usage after purchase

Heavy use of AI features, exports, or premium modules after purchase may affect refund eligibility. We review usage patterns to prevent abuse while treating legitimate requests fairly.

Abuse and fraud exception

We may deny refunds for accounts involved in fraud, chargeback abuse, terms violations, or misuse of the platform. We reserve the right to suspend accounts pending investigation.
